VIEW DATASHEET

Handycoat Interior is a ready mixed filler and board jointing compound for most building surfaces, including sand/ cement render and gypsum board. It gives a high quality, even surface for painting.

Usage:
Handycoat is specially manufactured for the painter to repair and touch up surfaces, both old and new, prior to painting.

Apply the filler in a thin even layer. If a thick coat is necessary, apply several thin layers, allowing to dry between layers. Lightly sand the final surface before painting, within 24 hour of application.

  • New surfaces: Ensure that all dust, dirt and foreign matter are scraped and brushed away. Also ensure the surfaces are free from salts, oil, grease and ridges. Protect all adjacent surfaces not to be covered.
  • Old surfaces: Before applying to old surfaces, ensure the substrate is firm. First wash down the surface with a sugar soap solution, rinse and allow to dry before repairing or applying the primer.
