Polytol Crystalprime 1K Filler is a single-component, acrylic-based product. It provides excellent filling performance, quick drying characteristics, and good adhesion on different substrate. It forms a uniform and sand-able underlayer that is compatible with Nitrocellulose topcoat.
1. METAL SURFACES
• Remove all rust by wire brushing, sanding, or abrasive blasting.
• Clean thoroughly with Kapci Degreaser/ Polytol Degreaser to remove oils and contaminants.
2. WOODEN SURFACES
• Sand the surface with Abrasive paper (by starting with P80 to P320)
3. PLASTIC SURFACES
• Remove all dust, dirt, grease, silicone and contaminants.
• Sand the surface with Abrasive paper P240 for better adhesion of Polytol Crystalprime.
• Degrease the surface with Kapci Thinner degreaser 605.
1. METAL SURFACES
• Apply 1 coat Crystal prime Filler.
• After drying, sand with P400. (wet sanding)
2. WOODEN SURFACES
• Apply 1 coat of Polytol Crystalprime Filler
• After 15-20 mins drying, make a dry/wet sanding on the surface with P400
• Degrease the surface with Kapci Thinner degreaser 605.
3. PLASTIC SURFACES
• Apply 1 coat of Polytol Crystalprime and let it dry for 15-20 mins before sanding with P600.
• Then degrease the surface with Kapci Thinner degreaser 605 again before applying topcoat.
