Description
Unsaturated polyester filler for repairs of automotive parts. Good drying, filling and sanding properties, flexible, fine, good adhesion on galvanized steel sheets.
Usage:
For use on all kinds of metallic substrate.
Surface Preparation
- Steel, aluminium and zinc must be cleaned; corrosion deposits must be removed. Steel and aluminium must be thoroughly sanded with coarse paper (P60 – 120) in order to guarantee good adhesion.
- Substrate must be dried, free of grease and dust before use.
- Product should imperatively be in no direct contact with Polytol 2-Pack Etch Primer.
Application
Apply by plastic (polyethylene) spatula in thin layers on the repaired parts. Carefully mix 100 parts by weight of Polytol body filler to 1 – 2 parts by weight of hardener paste (red), for temperatures between 18°C to 32°C.
