2K PU HS Clear Coat is a high-performance, two-component polyurethane clear coating designed for automotive refinishing and OEM applications. When mixed with the recommended hardener, it delivers excellent gloss, durability, and long-lasting protection. This clear coat provides superior resistance to UV rays, chemicals, fuel, and weathering, ensuring sustained gloss retention.
Metal surfaces
• Dry sand the area of application.
• Degrease the surface using an appropriate degreaser before applying 2K Primer.
• Wet sand the area using wet sanding paper for 400.
• Let dry and wipe the area using a tack cloth.
• Degrease again using a tack cloth.
• Add 2 coats of basecoat (flash off time: 15-20 mins)
• Once dry, apply 2 coats of 2K PU HS Clear Coat with a flash-off time of 10 minutes.
Wood surfaces
• Sand the surface with abrasive paper (starting with P80 to P320)
• Apply 1 coat of Sealer.
• after 15 minutes, dry sand the surface using P400 and apply Woodstain.
• Apply two coats of 2K PU HS Clear Coat with a flash-off time of 10 minutes.
Plastic surfaces
• Wipe surface with degreaser.
• Use fine abrasive paper to scuff the area starting with P320 to P400 and finish with P500 to P600.
• Wipe area again using a tack cloth.
• Apply Plastic Primer.
• Apply 1 coat of 2K Primer and allow to dry before sanding with P600 to P800 dry.
• Wipe area again with a tack cloth to remove dust particles and apply 2 coats of basecoat (flash
off time: 15-20 minutes)
• Once dry, Apply two coats of 2K PU HS Clear Coat with a flash-off time of 10 minutes.
